It's what drives both the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes Formula 1 team and the Lucozade Sport team’s own sports nutritionists and scientists. Which is why we've formed a five-year performance partnership with the world-beating F1™ team.

As part of the collaboration, we created two bespoke Lucozade Sport formulations for the drivers. Containing scientifically balanced ingredients, they play a key part in the preparation, performance and recovery of Jenson Button, Sergio Perez and the whole Vodafone McLaren Mercedes team.

In the same way that the team's engineers work continually to improve the performance of the car, Lucozade Sport scientists will use critical feedback to tweak and improve the two formulations as the high-octane season unfolds.

The success of the formulations in the race environment have led to Lucozade Sport creating 2 NEW consumer products based on what the drivers drink – Champions’ Choice Mango & Passion Fruit and Lemon & Lime.
